Group Practice Participant Feedback

Ranika was an incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful mentor throughout my CaRMS application process. Applying for residency as an International Medical Graduate was an intimidating and deceptively challenging process to navigate, even as a Canadian. She took the time to understand my personality, experience, unique strengths, and areas for improvement. She developed a tailored approach based on the specific schools and specialties I was applying to. Working alongside applicants in group sessions helped to develop confidence through consistent practice, frequent discussions, and structured feedback. Her understanding, explanation, and emphasis on the CanMEDS framework and Canadian medical system played an invaluable role in my transition to medical residency. Ranika kindly took the time to check in with our progress, emotional states, and evolving career interests, which helped me feel supported in every way. I’m incredibly grateful to say that Ranika helped me to develop, in-person and on-paper, into a strong candidate that matched to my top choice of residency. I would highly recommend Ranika to any IMG embarking on their residency journey.
